What it does
Enter how many people are in a meeting and their average pay rate, and this shows the real dollar cost of that meeting per minute, per hour, and running live while the meeting happens. It also projects what a recurring weekly meeting costs over a year, which tends to be the number that actually changes minds.
Why it is private
Everything runs in your browser with plain JavaScript. Nobody's salary data, headcount, or meeting details are sent anywhere or stored anywhere. Close the tab and it is gone.
Tips
Switch the rate toggle to "per year" if you only know an annual salary -- it converts using a standard 2,080-hour work year. Hit Start right as the meeting begins and let it run in a background tab; the counter keeps ticking even when the tab isn't focused.
